Dr. Abraham Stein
DDS - General Dentist / Owner
Dr. Abraham Stein started Stein Dental Group in 2009, after settling in the Tampa Bay area from South Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC in 2003 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Stein also completed residency programs at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Stein takes a passionate interest in his patients’ lives and their overall dental health. He works hard to find the best solutions for each individual.
Dr. Chaim Hyman
DMD - General dentist / Owner
Dr. Chaim Hyman joined Stein Dental Group in 2010. He received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL in 2003 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Drs. Stein and Hyman decided to combine efforts in order to offer quality, patient-focused dental care. Dr. Hyman is a skilled and gentle practitioner, putting all patients’ needs first.
Dr. Ruben F. Mesia
dds, ms - periodontist
Dr. Ruben F. Mesia specializes in Periodontics, and provides specialty care to patients who require advanced treatment to maintain their teeth, gums and bone, or to those who wish replacement of missing teeth. Dr. Mesia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received a Master in Dental Science and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Currently, he has an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Florida.
Prior to his periodontal training, Dr. Mesia completed two years of residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center and received his Dental Degree at the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University.
His combined training with Implant Dentistry provides him with a unique perspective in optimizing patient’s oral health care both functionally and esthetically. Dr. Mesia is also licensed to administer intravenous conscious sedation to provide treatment in a comfortable relaxing environment.
In his free time he enjoys biking, running, and spending time with his wife, two sons and his Chihuahua.
